Resistors for Light Rail Vehicles

The Light Rail Vehicles are the form of urban public transportation that usually is associated to low capacity, in terms of passengers, and low speed.

This typology of vehicles is typically used in the downtowns with other traffic in the streets. The modern LRV is also used to refer to the rail systems for rapid transit when it operates in tramway lines separated from other traffic; in this case, we can talk of “supertram” having length over 2 cars, with the characteristics to cover long distances and high capacity of passengers.
